MINI DESIGN COMPETITION--OPEN CALL
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS for ARTS FESTIVAL POSTER and T SHIRT DESIGN
Art Slope is pleased to announce a super-fast, mini- design competition for an official iconic design that could be used for a poster and t shirt for Art Slope. The designs should reflect the festival goals of presenting a Park Slope-based multi-arts festival - showcasing visual and performance arts, music and film, readings and panels as well as interactive activities - that appeals to all ages and diverse populations with an eclectic, fresh and populist outlook.
Note: there is no cash prize, this is simply design as donation to the community. If a winner is selected they will receive copies of the printed poster and t shirts, and will be credited on both the Art Slope website and poster, and will be invited to opening night events.
The selection committee will include representatives from both Art Slope and our sponsoring organization, the Park Slope Civic Council.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: July 20th 2016
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Very brief Resume/CV/Artist Statement/Bio
- Up to 2 images of proposed design (jpegs only)
- Signed Competition and Release Form (see below)
- Designs should prominently feature the official colors of Art Slope: Pantone 306 and Pantone 347
- Designs should also incorporate the official logo of both Art Slope and the Park Slope Civic Council (see homepage for logos)
